Wine of the Month
Feeling Winey Gewurztraminer

Feeling Winey Gewurztraminer

Thought to be a mutant variety of the Italian traminer grape grown in the Alsace region of France. The translation of Gerwurz means spicy or perfumed and it is just that, a fabulous noteworthy wine filled with delicious flavor and abundant floral aroma.
At Bishop Estate Winery, our Feeling Winey Gewurztraminer has been finished as an off dry white, it is not delicate, and the flavor can hold up to any spicy dish, so we recommend it when pairing with spicy Asian or Thia food or anything that has a little heat to it.

Why an Octopus on the label? Besides being so fun to draw with the three wine glasses in it’s tentacles, the Octopus is a term for a knight chess piece that is able to move in 8 directions. Since our winery has a chess theme, we decided to have a little fun with this term and have it represent this wine because it is an awesome wine, medal worthy, and you will be wishing you had more hands to hold another glass or two!
If you never tried a Gewurztraminer, now is the time. This is one of the most remarkable white wines and it is worth exploring.

It’s Here!!

Bee Sting is Back!

Jalapeno Infused Honey Wine
A slightly sweet honey wine, smooth and mellow with bite of heat on the tongue and some crazy pepper on the nose. It’s a jalapeno and wine lovers dream come true! Stay tuned.

Keystone Cheeses!

In the Refrigerator Daily
Cheddar Cheese aged for 2 years or 7 years, Asiago, Smoked Gouda
Bacon Cheddar and Horseradish Cheese, Cranberry Cheddar, and more!
All exceptional, especially with wine!

We did it, with your help! Thank You!!

It’s been an awesome year!

Kevin has been working hard at making delicious wines and Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery is growing and changing constantly to make this an enjoyable place to come and relax while you taste some of our 17 wines!

We are also working on our new tasting room, it’s on its way, but you all love it the way it is, apparently! We are so honored you chose our winery for Best Winery in Bucks in 2019!

So, thank you all who voted for us! Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery is going to continue to do their best to make this a place you will love to come to and drink wine.

Thank you!
Kevin and Cindy Bishop
