Chocolate & Wine Pairing

There is nothing better than wine and chocolate, so for the month of February we have paired our wines with Raymer’s Specialty Chocolates! We pair six Pieces of Raymer’s Chocolates and 6 Bishop Estate Wines that we selected especially because they enhanced each other!
Our first pairing is our Feeling Winey Gewürztraminer, (which is a Pinot Grigio style white wine) with a Champagne Truffle, where the floral bouquet of the Gewurztraminer and the subtleness of the Champagne ganache center dipped in the Belgian chocolate will be a happy dance on your tongue. We have paired a crispy salty chocolate covered potato chip with the Overworked Dry Riesling, delightful! Or, try the Dark Bishop Cabernet with a Carmel Pecan Truffle and the Strawberry Wine with a Peanut Butter Melt Away. Your pairing is six chocolates and six wines, but we have 8 confection selections for you to choose from. We will pair them with the best wine selection for you. (we do have some sweeter wine options if you don’t enjoy dry wines).
This is just a fun tasting, and we suggest you end the tasting with a flight of your favorite wines, to pair with the pieces of chocolate that you might have left over. A flight is 3 wines of your choice.
